Robert Adam was a Scottish neoclassical architect and furniture designer during the 18th Century and one of the first to consider furniture fully worthy of an architect's attention. A demi-lune top, veneered with pau ferro, is placed over tapering posts.
A half oval top rests over a deep curved apron rail that is elevated on gracefully tapering legs that are joined by a low shelf.
